Opt-Out
1. Bugs. Macross Frontier is a show about people fighting giant monster alien space bugs. Sheryl is also infected with the bacteria that allow those bugs to do superdimensional shenanigans. Without an opt-out, Sheryl and/or narration metatext may make passing and high-level references to bugs. None of it will be detailed unless someone ICly asks for additional details.
2. Medical procedures, on kids, without informed consent. When Sheryl was a kid, she went through some extended painful medical procedures. Without an opt-out, Sheryl and/or narration metatext may may make passing and high-level references to painful medical procedures in the past. None of it will be detailed unless someone ICly asks for additional details (and Sheryl would have to be pretty comfortable with someone to give details).
3. Terminal illness (resolved). Sheryl spends the back half of Frontier dying from the alien bug infection in her brain. (It gets fixed by moving the bugs to her gut.) Without an opt-out, Sheryl and/or narration metatext may make passing references to having been sick and/or almost dying. None of it will be detailed unless someone ICly asks for additional details (and Sheryl would have to be pretty comfortable with someone to give details).
4. Other. Other/general.
